Prey
I was in a hall in a big house. Captain Janeway was helping me with my bow tie. We were supposed to attend a function for that evening. Despite we seems close, I could sense that she will kill me at first opportunity. I acted along with her. Soon, we proceed to our car. It was a black Porsche. She asked if I would like to drive but I was busy aligning my bow tie at that moment. Hence she went into the driver’s seat and I entered the front passenger’s seat.
My mind was disturbed. I knew she would have planned for me to drive in order to take my life. But now that we have switched place, she probably has got a backup plan of killing me when I am seated on the passenger’s chair. After thinking for a while, I stopped her and volunteered to switch place with her. She stopped the Porsche by the road side and exit the car. I waited by my door and waited for her to enter. Then I notice she discreetly opened the glove compartment and pressed on a button. I was not sure if it was for enabling the airbag for the driver’s side or to disable it.
Then I proceed to enter through the driver’s side. This was my first time driving a Porsche. Then I came to a junction and trying to make a right exit. The traffic was moderate but the vehicles from left side were moving rapidly, while those on the right were slow. I jutted out my car halfway from the junction and I noticed a Toyota Camry was approaching on my right. I was nervous at that time and I wanted to leave quickly, so I covered the whole lane with my car but the vehicles coming from left were not giving ways. Until the Camry stopped just by my side and the driver started flashing me madly.
When I saw an opening in the row of vehicles, I immediately moved into the flow of traffic. Then the road was clear and it was uphill, I floored the throttle. Despite being a Porsche, I expected some screeching sound from the wheel spin and a lot more punch in acceleration, instead it was moving like a normal car going uphill. While driving, suddenly we came to a windy road, not tarmac, but it was like Sahara Desert. Instead of driving on the top of the windy road, I made use of the slanting sides to counter act my inertia force of making turns. I could manoeuvre the place easily, thanks to the superb handling.
On another dream, I was walking pass a volleyball court where my classmates were playing against each other. Then, few of their balls went out of court. So I was being nice, I went to collect them. I rolled the first 2 balls back to them and decided to make a simple serve so the ball would shoot straight into the court. Instead of making a decent serve, I missed it badly and the ball just rubbed through my hand and dropped on the ball and started rolling toward the court instead. My classmate, GCG was laughing at me for making that bad serve. I thought to myself, it was impossible. I took in every possible calculations of making a good serve, yet I still missed it.
