Earth snapshot

I keep worrying about my mission on taking a snapshot of Earth from high above. I recalled back to my earlier experience when coming back to Earth from moon. I pedalled off higher to the sky from the ground. Higher up until I reached outer space and float toward Earth via the inertia gathered when leaving the gravitational pull of the moon. I was usually looking straight at my destination when travelling through this method. This time, I would have to pedal up to a level and turn around to take a snapshot of Earth then get back to Earth. I was worried if I would sway away from my course and never reach back to Earth, or worse went off course away from moon and float somewhere in the outer space and never able to return.
