Reunion

I was walking on a least crowded street in Genting Highlands, enjoying the cold breeze there. It was quite dark, seemed like dawn to me as most part of the sun was blocked by the thick clouds above me. After a while of walking, over to my right along the sidewalk, I saw Kenny Wee at the end of the sidewalk, squatting down. He seemed to be fixing the phone line. I squinted a little to have a clearer look to confirm if that was really Kenny which I known. Then I walked over along the sidewalk to check him out.

The railing was over my right and beyond that was a road, which was way below my current level. About 1.5 or 2 storeys lower. The road was covered in thick grey clouds, which made the sidewalk seemed like a cliff. As I reached Kenny’s position, he was already standing there looking into the clouds covered road. I stood over to his right side. He was holding to the railings by the side and tried to blow the clouds away. The clouds did not budge at all. Apparently he did not blow hard enough.

He went back down to continue with his stuff. He was now squatting down over to my rear left. I gave it a try at blowing the clouds. I tried to concentrate my air into a thin stream. I blew hard and the clouds dissipated a little bit. I called Kenny to check out my result. By the time he raised up and looks at the clouds, the gap was already filled with clouds again. He said I was lying. Then I proved it to him by blowing again. This time I managed to blow harder and more clouds were dissipated. But very soon, it was filled with clouds again. Then I smirked at Kenny.

Then he got over to my right side and tried to blow the clouds. Instead, he spitted into the clouds. I heard a loud splat. I guess his spit hits the sidewalk along the clouded road, which sounded not far away from us. We were laughing so hard and wondering if that spit might hit someone down there. Then we turned around and laughed a bit.

Suddenly, a grey pigeon flew down to our position. I was stunned and scared by the pigeon. I duck and had both my hands covered my head with my elbows facing front, toward the pigeon. The pigeon, instead of being scared away, it remained there and staring down at me. It was a very big pigeon, with huge beak. It was at least 4 times the usual size of a pigeon. The size of its grey beak was huge and in proportion to its body. Unlike a pigeon’s beak, it seemed more like a crow’s beak. I asked Kenny to chase it away as I was afraid the pigeon might strikes my eyes. Kenny was only laughing there looking at the pigeon. Then it crossed my mind that pigeon dung would cause infections in the brain.

On another dream, I was seated in a café place. It was my birthday today and I met up with Jessy. Halfway through our conversations, I asked her if she has got married. She told me that she has even got a baby boy of 1-year old plus. She then continues talking about her baby boy while happily smiling away all the time. She nicknamed her baby boy as “Yin Jai” (celery leaf boy) for the reason that he was afraid of the grandmother, her mother.

I asked her if we’ve came out for meeting within that time frame that she was pregnant, as I did not notice her tummy grew. She replied with a short “nope.” Then I think harder and told her, we did meet up, somewhere before last year’s CNY or after CNY. But somehow I said I still did not notice her tummy, which was supposed to be quite obvious by that time.

I asked her again why she did not tell me that she was pregnant during that time. Then she replied that the reason why she chose to meet up last time at the nearby “Tong Gai” (Sugar/Sweet Street, a street with plenty of tong shui to drink) was so that she would be nearby to home in case of emergency. In response, I could only give her a smile.

Then her phone ranged, she turned around to get her phone while I had a sip of my iced barley. She was smiling quite happily during the phone conversation. I guessed it might have been her husband. After she was done, she asked if I was still working at Pizza Hut.
I told her that I have long quitted the job.

Out of random, she told me about her girlfriend. She said her girlfriend gave birth to a baby girl about the same time he had her baby boy. She was laughing at the notion that the girlfriend’s baby girl was afraid of the grandmother too (but I’ve forgotten the nickname she got for her.), which was similar to her very own baby boy. I thought to myself, has she ever been in a lesbian’s relationship. I just nodded in acceptation to her explanations. At the same time, my mind starts to wander as I was thinking of marking her house as POI in my GPS.

Monopoly

I was seated in my cubicle in my office. Then KYL came over and stood beside me over to my right, leaning her back against the wall. She was holding a pack of crackers, with 4 little packages stuck together in a grid form. The package was transparent, so I could see those crackers were golden brown in colour. She then proceeds to tell me some stories about herself, while starting to tear off 1 package from the big package of crackers she was holding.

She said, “He was not ready to commit yet.” She threw the little pack into my plastic bag, which was rested on my lap. inside the platic bag, it has similar crackers, but they were all torn into separate little packages already. She proceeds to tear the second pack out of the quadruplet, “I went and add in another foot into his 2-feet world, which was already sufficient for him.” She continues with splitting the rest of the packages. I asked her if she likes him. She exclaimed, “Of course!” Somehow, I did not notice if she was sorrow from the stopping in pursuit or what not.

Suddenly, we were at another place. She was playing Monopoly now, with HL and LGJ. There was another guy, which I could not recognize. HL was seated on her right, while she was seated on the side where the “GO!” starts. Someone took a “Fate” card, which was yellow, read it out loud and said it was an “Out of Jail” card. But he drew 2 cards instead. Hence, he put the other card at the bottom of the “Chance” deck of cards, with letters facing up. I was baffled for a bit but decided to ignore the rule.

Then someone threw a 6, 5 and 4 (I’ve got no idea why were there 3 dice being used instead of 1). I was trying hard to sum the figure, so were them. Then I exclaimed, “It’s 28!” The player started moving his piece without much hesitations, 1 rectangle at a time. I felt that something was wrong with my calculations as I looked into the dice. I tried to recalculate again and told him that it’s actually only “18”. He obliged to it without much protest though (like I’ve said, math just don’t work in dreams).

Then it’s KYL’s turn. She threw a 6 at first. Then I told her, she can throw another time if she gets a “6”. I explained to her, try to get more sixes in order to maximize the number of moves she can get but avoid getting the third “6”. She passed the die to HL for him to throw. Harry was chanting something before throwing the die and he managed to get another “6” for her.

Then she grabbed the die. I reminded her on the third “6” which would cause her penalty. She simply threw it like she was no longer in the mood for the game. It somehow ended up with another “6”, which unfortunately causes her a penalty. Her piece was being transported to the third box after the “GO!”, which was a “Chance” box. She was exempted from collecting $200.

Theft

It was dawn and I was driving toward my cousin brother, Ah Hong’s biscuit shop, to pack something back for my family. The sky was still pretty dark, only shades of dark blue were seen on the sky. When I reached there, I just parked right in front of the gate. I decided to put my wallet below the parking brake handle because it was very thick for my pants. Since I would be going in for a short period of time and it was still very early, not many people around, I guessed that the risk was worth taking.

When I was inside, I talked to my cousin brother on the stuff I wanted. While doing so, I had my other eye checking out my car to make sure no one was near it. Then I saw the white powder cookies all packed in big bags and hanged by the wall. Each piece of the cookie was about the size of my palm, sans the fingers. They were huge for such cookies.

I told my cousin brother that I bought a pack from him earlier and the cookies were way too dry. He was asking me which type I bought and showing me all the available shapes of cookies he was selling. Somehow, I could not identify the shape of cookies that I bought. I guess he sold out that particular shape.

While he was waiting for me to pick the right cookie, suddenly I saw someone got out from my car. I looked over it and noticed it was some figure, about the height of Eric Tsang. I quickly ran toward the door and shouted at him, “HOI!!!” My cousin was following behind. Then I noticed Eric was stunned for a bit then he opened the rear passenger door and threw something to the board behind my car’s rear passenger seats.

When I ran outside, the sky was already bright. It seemed like 9am already. I caught Eric, whom was indeed Eric Tsang, standing behind my car pretending nothing has happened. I looked into the rear of my car through the rear windscreen. I saw my wallet on the board, opened with my blood test ID card facing the sky. Then I looked at Eric with a stern look. He was giving me the not-my-fault look.

My cousin came and he asked what has happened. Then I explained to him that I saw Eric stole my wallet. It was in my car below the parking brake handle and now it was on the board behind my car. Eric was shaking his head and then my cousin was questioning me why would I leave my wallet in my car. Then I showed to him that my wallet was this thick, about 1.5 inch and it was very inconvenient for me to put into my pocket. Besides, I stressed on the point that Eric should not be stealing from someone’s car.

Then my cousin was looking at Eric for explanations. Eric was dumbfounded. Then I proceed to lecture Eric on how he should not have stolen in the first place. He would have ruined Ah Hong’s future by doing so and affected his business and such. I knew I was very agitated at that point of time. I could see his facial expression has turned to regretful look.

Supplements

My aunt was showing me some supplement tablets products that she was selling and the good effects that it brings to the consumer. Then she told me a case where the guy has passed away due to kidney failure. She explained that the supplements would have saved his life if he would consume the supplements regularly.

Then she explained to me the symptoms of the kidney failure the guy was having. The pee let out by the guy was smelly, as in the smell of the food and drink that was consumed. It was a sign of the weakening in the filtration system of the kidneys. After hearing that, I have lost my mood. I was wondering how long I could stay alive because I started to show such symptoms already. I was wondering, should I call and tell my loved ones about it.

Aliens and Hatred

•April 28, 2009 • Leave a Comment

My brother was playing the classic Star Wars: X-Wing game. The particular mission was a pretty simple one. All he needed to do was to take down an A-Wing which has gone rogue with only 1 torpedo. At first, he managed to accomplish the mission in less than 5 minutes because the A-Wing was headed toward his direction, head on. He was unsatisfied with it so he restarted the mission.

This time, while he was flying head on to the A-Wing, instead of using the torpedo, he decided to use the laser cannons to take down the A-Wing. Fortunate to the A-Wing and unfortunate to him, the A-Wing managed to escape the brink of death. Then I told him to quickly return to the mother ship because if the A-Wing gets there first, it would be doom for us.

Unfortunately, the A-Wing was a speedy one and the X-Wing just could not catch up. Later, when we were at the mother ship, the whole place was a wreck. It was like a civilian residence being bombarded by military forces. They were defenceless against the A-Wing. But finally the A-Wing has crashed landed and the pilot was taken away in the crash as well. In a short while, aliens were seen invaded our place. The A-Wing acted as a beacon to their invasion.

When we finally landed, the aliens were already sweeping the area. A Mon Calamari species was seen thrown onto the floor and being stepped on by the alien and shot at point blank at the head. I was shocked by the chaos. Suddenly, an unknown force came to rescue. It does not come in huge fleets, but the aura was amazing. It made the invading aliens feel fear. Finally, the chaos came to an end.

Moment later, we were inside the observation lounge of Enterprise-D. The crew of Enterprise-D were there, lead by Captain Jean Luc Picard, and a single alien member, which has scaly skin (like from TV series “V”) that came to our help, seated on the other end of the table. They just finished the diplomacy truce treaty with the aggressive alien through video conferencing.

Then the alien started to talk about how the invading aliens were able to cause extinctions to several alien species in the galaxy and he felt so guilty for not being able to save them all. It was then shown on the monitor the 3 alien species that were annihilated by the aggressor. The first one being shown was called the C-Pac species, then 2 more races were shown, which I could not recognize. They kept a minute of silence for the extinct alien races.

Suddenly, a hologram of the same species as the friendly alien race appears. It was the father of the diplomat alien. He was asking the son to quickly accomplish his mission in acquiring “the skin”. I had a bad feeling that he was actually referring to the female crew member, whom was seated on his right. She was an alien race too, with scaly skin like a snake but softer and stretchable. She then realised they were talking about her and she prompted to ask him directly what does he want with the acquisition.

Then I got down from the starship and out, then entered a house nearby. I saw LSL was rehearsing an MV song with a jass singer. I do not know who he was, but he looked like Michael Bublé, but it was definitely not him. I whispered to LSL that his tummy was big that he should have loose some weight.

Then LSL approached him and whispered to him. Then they walked out to the porch and continued their discussion. Then I saw them posing in front of the camera, taking shot of them both. As I was passed through the frame of the camera shot, despite the screen was small and faraway, I somehow managed to zoom in and spotted myself walking pass. I tried to make a “peace” sign with my right hand while walking pass.

Then, a stranger came to our entrance, a mother with two kids. The mother stopped by and went off with one kid, leaving another kid behind. The boy was rather slow-minded. The boy came in asking for his pet. I told him I have not seen his pet and I asked him to leave immediately. He insisted that his pet was at my place and does not want to leave. I chased him away by throw slippers at him. The boy then went to another house looking for his pet again, while the mother and son proceed further to another house.

When the boy came out from the other house, I scolded him because it all felt like a scam to me, posing as people looking for pet but instead having hidden agenda and all. He then turned into a dog like creature (weredog?) and pounce toward my direction. I tried to stop him with my left hand and he bit me. It was not pain at all. Since I do not feel any pain, I decided to carry it back to my home. I was so furious I wanted to tear open and split his mouth into two because somehow I had a strong hatred feeling toward him.

I tried to pull, before I actually did split his mouth into two, I asked around my friends whom were watching, whether I should do it or not. Would the mother come back for avenge the death of her son?

In Car

•April 17, 2009 • Leave a Comment

I was going somewhere which was unknown to me. LGJ was with me and he insisted on driving, my car. Hence, I was seated on the front passenger seat. We were on hilly bending roads and he took on those sharp corners like a professional racing driver. I was shocked and afraid he might throw us off the cliff. So I tried to step on the brake pedal, which magically just appears on my side of the foot area. I looked at him and smirked. I thought I felt the car slowed down or something but he was still driving happily and taking on those corners like usual. He does not seem to complain as well. Fortunately, he handled the car pretty well.

Suddenly, I was inside PG’s car, seated beside him. He was driving his old Honda Accord (which has already turned into scrap metal now), through the morning market near my hometown’s house. It was crowded as well and the lane was small, barely able to fit the car. Then we came to a porch of a wooden house.

Genting trip

•April 5, 2009 • Leave a Comment

I went to Genting Highlands with my family and friends for fireworks display. We were standing on a makeshift platform, which looked rather wobbly. There were crowds everything I looked. Even on the platform we were standing at, it was crowded. While waiting for the fireworks to start, I was walking around the platform looking at the adverts posted all over the place, below the place where were standing. Those billboards were hanged on the mountains.

I told my brother that perhaps he could take a shot of me seemingly like I was jumping down off the platform to the cliff below, much like how the billboard on display right below us. My mother scolded me for that stupid idea that it would be dangerous to do that. I said it was only seemingly, which I do not really jump off the platform. Anyhow, my brother ignored my request.

I continue to walk around and wait for the show to start. Fortunately, the wait was not too long and soon the fireworks started. I could hear the crowds cheering when the fireworks finally started. Unfortunately, glory moments do not last long. The fireworks display lasted for about 2 minutes or so. We complained that it was too damn short and soon people started to dismiss from the everywhere.

On the way back, we took a safer route down by walking. I was telling my father that far from our place, about a couple of hundreds metres away, there was a cavern where that was another spot for viewing the fireworks. That would be a more risky route. I do not know why I have said that being that we were on a wobbly platform earlier.

While on the way down, I was seated in my brother’s friend’s car, a Honda City. I was seated on the rear left passenger seat. The driver overshot the turn to right and went straight ahead instead. Fortunately, I managed to stop him before he gone too far. It was an upslope up ahead, instead of down slope. I asked him to turn back and get on the right track.

He tried to make a u-turn at that tight road where cars were parked on our left. After a few tries, he gave up all together. I peeked at the rear, there used to be cars that followed us but they already managed to get back on the right track. I proposed to reverse the car for him instead. Hence I got into the driver’s seat and tried to reverse our way out.

When I got hold of the steering, I could feel that the steering was thin on the grip. It felt like a toy car’s steering. I thought to myself, “Shouldn’t Honda City’s steering be thicker than my own car?” I feel very uncomfortable gripping the barely there steering. I push the gear lever to “S” position and proceed to reverse the car by looking at the back.

It took me a couple of minutes to reach the right turn. I continued to drive for a short while until I stopped at a safe place and passed the driving back to my brother’s friend. I was still left with the uncomfortable feeling of gripping the thin steering when I got back to my seat. I advised him to keep the gear lever at “S” for the downhill journey though.

Sabotaging aliens

•March 23, 2009 • Leave a Comment

I was afloat in the sky, looking down a vast sea. There was a huge alien creature, with 8 tentacles sprouting from the centre carapace. The tentacles were spanning in a huge radius. I saw people parachuting down to the alien creature trying to disable it, but most of them were being killed even before landing onto the creature.

Soon, I was lowered down to the creature. Apparently, I was one of the cannon fodder in the whole mission. When I got down and managed to secure myself by standing on top of one of the tentacles’ arm, I got a good look of the alien creature.

At least half of its body were underwater whole surrounding the area of the body was a sea of thick hardened liquid. I somehow got the idea that it was a mix of blood and platelets. I tried to reach down to the liquid to see if I could take the alien from a position where its tentacles could not reach.

As I stepped on the area, it appears to be rather hard, albeit being a little semi transparent. I tried to stomp on it a little to be sure that it could support my weight. It made a solid hollow sound instead of squishy sound that I expected. Before I could proceed with sabotaging the alien, suddenly I was transported to elsewhere…

Upon gaining my consciousness, I found that I was in the sea, afloat with many other soldiers. The surrounding sea water was covered in the same blood platelet formation that could be found on the base of the alien. Instead of in a whole piece, they were shattered into smaller pieces, about 2 – 3 feet in diameter. Apparently, my team has took down an alien, which also caused the sea water looked glowing red. The sky was orange in colour like a watercolour painted canvas.

Despite the seawater was calm, I was struggling to get to a piece of floating platelets to help me afloat as I afraid I might drown. Later, the group was swimming toward a single direction. Surprisingly, I was able to swim very well and keep up the pace with the rest of them.

The Chase

•March 18, 2009 • Leave a Comment

I was seated inside my own car. It is an old looking Cadillac painted in white with some yellow and pink. In fact, it was a taxi. I was seated on the front passenger seat, waiting for my turn to wash my car.

Later, 3 Indian came into my taxi. They were family, a little kid and his grandparents. The kid was seated in between his grandparents while the granny had the rightmost seat. I turned back and looked at them and then ignored them and continue to wait for my turn.

Soon after, Tom Foss (from Kyle X.Y.) came into the car seated on the driver’s seat. He started the car’s engine and proceeds to drive it away from the queue. I told him that I need to wash my car so I asked him to stop and let me off. Instead of stopping, he slowed down enough for me to jump off the car. After I jumped off, I turned to look at the car wash centre. Then I realised that I was supposed to send my car for car wash, not myself.

When I look back at my taxi, I was in distressed. I shouted for it and chased it. Then the taxi took a right turn at the junction. I noticed there were a few motorcycles nearby. I sat on the nearest one, a Yamaha SS110. Fortunately, the key was attached. I managed to kick-start it without much problem and proceed to chase the taxi.

We went through a few different routes, from tarmac to soil road. I lost the taxi and saw the taxi and lost it again, until I came to an estate road. I looked far ahead the curvy winding road. I could see at least 400 metres in front but there was no sign of the taxis. I looked over to my right and saw the taxi went past of about 30 metres from my position.

I made a u-turn and proceed with the chase. But this time I lost track of it until I came to a rich Indian’s mansion. When I entered into the house, I saw the owner whom looked like Mahatma Gandhi. He was standing under the moon well while the place was brightly lit. He was looking over a mini fountain. I asked for Tom Foss, he pointed me over to the room right across where he was standing.

I went into the room and picked up Tom Foss. I dragged him out of the room and placed him onto the chair by the tea table right outside the room. I so wanted to punch him on the stomach for stealing my taxi, but I held back because he suddenly looked like my brother.

Undead

I was playing a car racing game with my brother. It was a network game and we were currently on a circuit race mode. I was driving an upgraded American muscle car. I noticed my spec has written that it could accelerate from 0-100km/h in 2.9 seconds. It was really fast. My brother’s car was an Italian sports car. It looked like a Ferrari but not the latest model. His 0-100km/h was 2.91 seconds, which was only 0.01 second slower than mine.

The beginning of the circuit consists of up hill slopes. It was a long straight and up, which I could barely see any farther from my camera’s view. When the lights turned green, I press hard on the keyboard’s up arrow key to accelerate forward. I was leading and slowly leaving my brother behind. Despite being straight, the road was bumping. I constantly lose tractions because of the softer suspension setup on American muscle car, which made me lose time. But somehow, my brother was still trailing behind. I guess he got a bad start from the beginning.

On another dream, I was with a small group of people, consists of 5 humans and 1 cyborg. The cyborg was Terminator T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger). He was with us because he needed to protect 1 of the members of our team. It was midnight and we were running from the zombies.

While running away, we came to a broken bridge with destroyed cars laid all over the sides of the street. Suddenly, zombies were seen climbing up from the bridge to the tarmac. We tried to escape, but 1 of us got caught. He was really unlucky. T-800 urged us to move quickly while he would devise a plan to destroy those zombies. I told him, those zombies were almost indestructible. He said it would at least slow them down which would buy us enough time to escape.

We were heading toward an unknown territory, T-800 caught up to us in a short while. He explained to us regarding the infection, on how it would get to us even by touching the zombies. He could handle with them because he is immune to the infections. He then asked us if any of us were touched or infected. I got the bad feeling that at least 1 of us has got the infection, but everyone denied that they got infected. Probably they were afraid of being left behind to rot.

Finally, we came to a container yard. It was quiet and mildly lit due to the spotlights used to brighten the area. We climbed up to the highest red container on top. Suddenly, swarms of zombie started appearing on the place and we were outnumbered and surrounded. T-800 asked us to find an escape route while he will jumps into the swarm of zombies and try to take out as many of them as possible. I was reluctant to move on but I was forced to.

Images of him getting torn apart from flesh to flesh by the zombies keep flashing in my mind. I felt really uneasy, despite knowing that he was just a cyborg underneath. I hope he could rendezvous with us at a same place in 1 piece. Meanwhile, there is something else that I should be worrying about as 1 of us has already got infected. He would turn into a zombie anytime soon…
